The Certain Sparks Music Foundation is committed to providing
access to musical instruments and education to underserved youth in Lompoc, CA.
Our mission is to inspire creativity, encourage self-expression, and promote personal growth through music. Since our establishment in 2017, we have primarily provided scholarships for weekly music lessons thanks to the generosity of our community partners including Lompoc Odd Fellow Lodge #248, The Lompoc Theater Project, the Santa Rita Hills Wine Alliance, The Lompoc Wine Factory, and Pommerville’s Automotive & Gas, as well as the Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation.
We believe that music has the power to transform lives and enrich communities, and we are dedicated to providing our students with the tools and resources they need to succeed. In addition to our scholarship program, we offer a monthly youth open mic, the Lil Sparks Music Hour for children under age 7, and bi-annual student recitals, which serve as both a celebration of our students’ progress and an opportunity to raise funds for our foundation.
Through our work, we hope to cultivate a love of music and a passion for lifelong learning in the youth of Lompoc, empowering them to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential.
